Would
you like to better understand your horse’s behavior and body language or
just want to learn more so you can better handle your horse? Helen Dionne,
one of
West Virginia
’s most experienced horse trainers, is hosting a Horsemanship Clinic and
lunch, which will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 10:00 am
to 3:00 pm at Sunny Creek Stables located on Hacker’s
Creek Road
in
Upshur
County
(near Weston and Jane Lew off of I-79).
The
clinic will be customized and structured around the questions and needs
personally submitted by attendees, allowing them the opportunity to have
their own horse issues addressed. This unique event and horse
demonstrations will be held under roof, so attendees won’t need to worry
about the weather.
Register
early to reserve your seat, as attendance is limited. For just a nominal
fee, it will be a day well spent for any horse lover or enthusiast, and packed
full of horse demonstrations and helpful information.

Helen
Dionne is an experienced professional horse trainer and riding instructor
who works everyday with horses. She got her first horse when she was 33,
in 1968, and began barrel racing and endurance riding. A member of the
West Virginia Arabian Horse Association for the past 19 years, she has had
champions in all divisions.
Helen
loves all horse breeds, but feels closest to Arabians, and states
“Arabian horses are misunderstood and get a bad rap”. She encourages
those interested in horses to come see for themselves how wonderful
Arabians truly are.
Sunny
Creek Stables provides boarding, private riding lessons, horse training,
and Summer Day Camp for children and adults. For more information, call
